(一)Beijing Children's Hospital，Capital Medical University

Beijing Children's Hospital, Capital Medical University is a comprehensive 3A pediatric hospital that integrates medical care, research, teaching, and health care. In 2017, the National Health Committee, launched the National Center for Children's Health. The hospital has 1 national key discipline, 10 national research plateforms, 7 national key clinical specialties, 5 municipal key labs, 2 municipal research platforms and 16 municipal medical centers.

The hospital is renowned for 3 academicians in pediatrics: Zhu Futang, the Chinese Modern Pediatric founder, Hu Yamei, academic leader in pediatric leukemia, and Zhang Jinzhe, one of the founders of Chinese pediatric surgery. Other high-level talents received awards or grants from the State Council, the National New Century Talents ,and the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars.

The Hospital is the home base of School of Pediatrics, Capital Medical Universitywith 122 professors and associate professors and 111 mentors of graduate students. The Hospital has a postdoctoral research base since 1996, having cultivated a large number of excellent pediatric professionals for the pediatric community in China.

(二)Beijing Pediatrics Research Institute

Beijing Pediatrics Research Institute, founded on October 16, 1979, is a public institution approved by Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and Beijing Municipal Health Commission. It has 10 research units and more than 100 staff members.

一、Recruiting Fields

Main research areas: pediatric internal medicine, pediatric surgery, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology, head and neck surgery, dermatology and venereology, imaging medicine and nuclear medicine, genetics, immunology and other basic medicine disciplines.

三、Recruiting Requirements

(一)Excellent Young Talents Leadership Program

1、For Excellent Young Talents Leadership Program, applicant should abide the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, have good scientific merits and the spirit of scientists in the new era. A Ph.D. degree is a prerequisite. Applicant is better under the age of 50. Of which, applicant should be under the age of 40 (born after September 1, 1981) to apply for the grant from National Science Foundation for Excellent Young Scholars (Overseas) from NSFC.

2、Before April 30, 2021, applicant should hold a formal teaching or research position in overseas universities, research institutions and enterprise R&D institutions, and have more than 36 consecutive months of working experience, or hold a position equivalent to associate professor or above. (For those who have obtained the overseas doctoral degree and have made outstanding research achievements, the requirements of working years can be discussed);

3、As the first author or corresponding author, applicant should have published high-level academic papers or obtained scientific research or technical achievements recognized by peers. Applicant should be the top ranking talent in his/her own field and have the promising potential to become a leader in the field.

4、The applicant has not returned to China to work full-time or has returned to China to work after September 1, 2020, if the Overseas Young Scholorship from NSFC is successfully granted, the applicant must resign from overseas work or have no overseas position and return to China to work full-time for at least 3 years.

(二)Excellent Postdoctoral Researchers

1、For Excellent Postdoctoral Researchers, applicant should hold a PhD degree (fresh Ph.D. graduates are preferred), and have good physical health, and excellent characters . Applicant should under the age of 35, with a Ph.D. degree granted within 3 years.

2、As the first author or corresponding author, applicant has published academic papers of high impact or has excellent scientific research achievements, and has the potential in scientific and technological innovation.

3、The post-doctoral research staff should transfer their personnel relationship to Capital Medical University and ensure that they are engaged in full-time post-doctoral research.

四、Benifit Package & Support

(一)Salary Package

1、Those selected for the national talent level will be given living allowance and research funds according to the government policies. The hospital will give pre-tax annual salary of 600,000 RMB and related benefits according to the research achievements and work performance.

2、Those selected for the municipal talent level will be given living allowance and scientific research funds according to the government policies. The hospital will give pre-tax annual salary of 500,000 RMB according to the scientific research achievements and work performance, as well as hospital related benefits.

3、Postdoctoral researchers will be paid as the equivalent position as the staff in the hospital. Pre-tax annual salary of 200,000-250,000 RMB will be given according to research ability and work performance.

(二)Other support

1、Scientific research funds and office conditions. For those who have high-level talents and academic achievements, the hospital will provide a research start-up fund of 1 to 2 million RMB to establish a research team, and provide a laboratory space .

2、Promotion. Those who meet the special requirements of the employment of teaching titles of Capital Medical University will be directly employed as associate professors or professors, and will be supported to recruit graduate students.

3、Hosing. An expert apartment with a five-year term of use will be optional. Post-doctoral staff will be provided with post-doctoral apartments.

4、Schools for Children. For those high-level talents, the hospital will help solving the problem of children's enrollment. During the stay, spouse and kids can have temporary residency.

5、Post-doctoral researchers who meet the comparable requirements of the hospital staff will be given priority to be employed as staff. The hospital supports postdocs to apply for China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, National Natural Science Foundation of China, China Overseas Study Start-up Fund and research funds in the hospital.
